Dr. Lauren and Jessica are the heart behind Roadrunner Relief, brought together by a shared love for animals and a passion for making one of the hardest days of pet ownership a little more peaceful.
Dr. Lauren spent most of her life growing up in Arizona before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University. She spent five years practicing in traditional veterinary clinics before stepping away from medicine for a few years to focus on being a stay-at-home mom to her two children. At home, her family also includes five beloved fur babies, so she understands both as a veterinarian and as a pet parent just how deeply animals become part of our families.
Jessica brings over seven years of experience as a veterinary technician and works alongside Dr. Lauren to care for both the pet and the people who love them. Her connection to this work is personal, too—especially through the love she shares with her own dog, Clifford and Buster. Jessica helps families through every step, from the first phone call and preparing for the appointment to being there in the home and providing respectful aftercare afterward.
Together, Lauren and Jessica believe end-of-life care is about so much more than a medical procedure. It is about honoring a lifetime of love, allowing families to say goodbye without feeling rushed, and treating every pet with the same dignity and tenderness they would want for their own.
