Writing and Editing
The Roadrunner has
written many successful technical proposals, grant applications, engineering
reports, technical specifications, newsletters, operating manuals, and
hundreds of eBay listings. Some work was done as a free-lance writer, some as
a regular employee. Gillespie County Soil & Water Conservation
District, Fredericksburg, Texas. As
District Manager, Pat writes and edits newsletters that are distributed as
inserts in the Fredericksburg Standard Radio-Post. Pat also writes grant applications for the
District and articles about District events.
Pat developed and writes the District’s web page, which is at http://www.gillespiecountyswcd.org/. eBay store under name of Bluestemblues. Wrote store listings and
photographed items for sale. Buying
and selling things on eBay since 1998. Canadian Shielding, Inc. (CSI), Winchester, Ontario, Canada. Pat worked
with CSI's sales representative to develop web page text and project
references for
Canadian Shielding products. ETS-Lindgren (formerly EMC
Test Systems, L.P.), Cedar Park, TX. Pat was a free-lance writer
for nearly 7 years with ETS-Lindgren’s engineering staff and sales
representatives, creating technical proposals based on customer
specifications. (This international
company
designs and builds anechoic test chambers for hi-tech electronics and
military purposes.) A few of the many

3-meter EMC test facility for Harley Davidson, Wauwatosa, WI Haynie Kallman & Gray, Inc., Austin, TX. Pat wrote technical proposals and a grant
application. She discussed design projects with civil engineers and
wrote many technical engineering reports. She also wrote municipal
utility district bond application reports. Web page creation: Pat
has created and maintains several web pages for various purposes. Most of the
pages have multiple links and photos. The effort includes researching and
writing the text, taking and editing digital photos, designing web page
